During the early 2000’s, LeBron James was the biggest name in high school basketball. As a freshman at St. Vincent-St. Mary High School in Akron, Ohio, James led his Irish team to a 23-1 record en route to the Division III state title. During his sophomore season, he increased his statistics across the board to 25.2 points, 7.2 rebounds, and 5.8 assists per game. Again, his team won the Ohio Division III state title with a 26-1 record. He practiced and played many of his early high school games on the school’s home court at St. Vincent-St. Mary. By his junior season, his name had become so large and his team so good that the school had to move their games to the local university to accommodate the growing crowds. Recently, LeBron gave his alma mater a new basketball court, and Upper Deck acquired the game-used floor from St. Vincent-St. Mary on which James played the majority of his prep games. Accompanying this impressive limited edition (23) “Golden Child” collage is an authentic 26” x 6” autographed section of St. Vincent-St. Mary high school game-used floor. The overall framed dimensions measure approximately 36'' wide x 24'' high. Upper Deck Authenticated guarantees the authenticity of James’ signature on the floor piece through its Five-Step Authentication Process. The authentic piece of game-used floor featured on this item was legally procured directly from St. Vincent-St Mary. Actual game-used floor section may vary in appearance from product image shown.
