Rory McIlroy secured his second major championship by winning the 2012 PGA Championship by a record 8 strokes. The 94th installment of the tournament was held at the Ocean Course in Kiawah Island, South Carolina. At age 23, he became the youngest player ever to win multiple major championships. He began the tournament on Thursday with a score of 67, which put him in a tie for second place one stroke off the lead. The following three days McIlroy shot 75, 67, and 66 and finished 13 strokes below par to win his second major.
