Whether he was an All-Star in Minnesota or an All-Star and NBA Finals champion in Cleveland, Kevin Love has always been strong and confident around the rim. Defensively, he boxes out and rebounds as well as any player in the league. Offensively, he can finish any number of ways, including dunking like in this image. That skillset around the rim didn’t begin in the NBA. He developed it gradually throughout high school and then showcased it for the nation in his lone season at UCLA. The consensus All-America notched 23 double-doubles in that 2007-08 season as he teamed with Russell Westbrook to lead the Bruins to a Final Four appearance.
