The Black Widow 12" x 18" premium lithograph is a unique addition to any comic art enthusiast’s collection. These Marvel superhero prints can be displayed as stand-alone art pieces or all six can be collected and displayed together to reveal a cohesive battle scene. The Black Widow is one of two prints initially released in this six print series depicting the Avengers in a unique, Japanese Woodblock presentation.
Created by illustrator Marcelo Baez, these limited edition posters are lithographed on heavy card stock and hand numbered to an edition of 250. To complete your collection and reveal the scene, the remaining Avengers will be available later this year in two future releases – be sure to check back with Upper Deck Gallery on the first Thursday of every month to see what’s new!
“Mixing 17th century Japanese woodblock art with Marvel’s mightiest heroes, seemed like such an amazing opportunity to employ the unique design concepts of Ukiyo-e and the amazing kinetic energy influence of Jack Kirby! I’m amazed how naturally Japanese master artist styles like Hokusai and Kuniyoshi fuse with the dynamic Marvel universe.” --- Marcelo Baez
