Denver, Colorado is a city known for many things, but one of the things it is most known as is the Mile High City due to its high elevation above sea level. The Nuggets were a team on the rise when they traded for forward Aaron Gordon, and they have reached new heights since. After two consecutive playoff seasons, Denver traded for Gordon in the 2020-21 season to help them reach the next level. Everything came together two seasons later, as Gordon contributed in a big way, 16.3 points and 6.6 rebounds per game, to help the Nuggets secure the number one seed in the Western Conference. They did not stop there, as the Denver Nuggets won the first NBA Finals in franchise history.
