On October 6th, 2021 Adam Page would make his return back to the wrestling ring after a little more than two months off from paternity leave for the birth of his first child. It was at this time where Page would go on a tear. Page’s entrance in the seven-man Casino Ladder match at “Dynamite’s” Second Anniversary would turn out to be a successful one as he would win the match and secure a shot for the AEW World Championship. A month later, on November 13th, Page would defeat Kenny Omega to win the AEW World Championship, his first solo championship since joining AEW. Page would go on to defend his championship for 197 days defeating Bryan Danielson, Lance Archer, and Adam Cole (twice) in the process.
