Details
Putting together his best game yet in the NHL, a career-high 5-point night, Alexis Lafrenière tallied his first career hat trick as part of an 8-5 Rangers victory over the Arizona Coyotes on March 30th, 2024. Playing to a small capacity crowd of 4,600 at Arizona’s Mullett Arena (most of them Rangers fans), there were many cheers and hats thrown onto the ice after Lafrenière’s third goal. Lafrenière’s big night not only netted him his first hat trick, it made him the first Ranger aged 22 or under to record five-plus points in a game since Brian Leetch on February 17, 1989. It also gave Lafrenière 25 goals and 52 points on the season, a season where he would gather career highs in goals (28) and points (57).
This image is autographed by Alexis Lafrenière. Lafrenière’s signature was witnessed by an Upper Deck representative as part of UDA’s 5-step authentication process.
