Anthony Davis wasn't a top recruit from day one of high school like many NBA superstars were. In fact, he barely reached the 6-foot mark as a freshman. That changed by the time he started his junior year as he sprouted up to 6-8. As a senior, he played in the McDonald's All-American Game and then poured in 29 points with 11 rebounds and four blocks in the Jordan Brand Classic. He committed to the University of Kentucky and was outstanding in his lone season there. He pretty much swept all the Player of the Year awards while leading the Wildcats to the National Championship.
