Hometown superstar Anthony Davis started on a Western Conference squad that featured Stephen Curry, James Harden, Kevin Durant and Kawhi Leonard as his fellow starters. The game was a typical high-scoring affair with the West coming out ahead, 192-182. Davis was sensational with an All-Star Game record 52 points on 26-for-39 shooting. He added 10 rebounds, which tied for a game high. His point total is a record that may never be eclipsed. He bested the previous record held by Wilt Chamberlain, who scored 42 points in 1962.
