Anthony Davis Autographed Los Angeles Lakers City Edition 2023 Wilson Basketball

The 2023-24 City Edition uniforms for the Los Angeles Lakers, known as “The California Dream”, pay tribute to the franchise’s years in Los Angeles and its different eras. With the black jersey representing the Lakers learning their identity when they first moved to LA and the purple representing the sunset, the Los Angeles wordmark honors the 1960s when the uniforms used the city name, and it also pays tribute to the successful 1999-2017 era with a similar number font. In the three NBA In-Season Tournament games where the Lakers wore these City Edition jerseys, Anthony Davis helped lead the team to a 3-0 record. He recorded a double-double in each of these three games, including a 26 point and 16 rebound performance, and a 27 point and 15 rebound performance. This helped set the tone for the rest of the tournament, as Davis helped lead the Lakers to win the inaugural NBA Cup.
