On January 19th, 2019, Britt Baker signed with AEW making her the first contracted female wrestler with AEW.  It did not take long after that for Baker to make a name for herself. On May 25 at Double or Nothing Baker made her AEW debut defeating Nyla Rose, Kylie Rae, and Awesome Kong in a four-way match.  Later on in her career Baker would win her first AEW Women’s World Championship when she defeated Hikaru Shida at Double or Nothing on May 30, 2021. Baker would go on to defend her title for six times before finally losing it to Thunder Rosa in a steel cage match. Baker’s impressive title defense and her equally solid 55-29 overall record with AEW has made her one of AEW’s most prominent wrestlers today.
