Britt Baker “Making a Name” 20x16

Dr. Britt Baker DMD is one of the most talented and popular wrestlers in the AEW Women’s Division, considered by many to be the gold standard. However, that doesn’t mean her journey has always been smooth sailing. After the turn of the new year in 2020, Baker went almost 17 months without seeing a chance to capture the AEW Women’s World Championship. Instead of counting herself out, she handled the situation only how she knows how, by working harder and leaving no doubt with consistent winning. On May 30, 2021, Baker finally got her chance to take down Hikaru Shida, who had held the title for over a year. The doctor made the most of this opportunity and defeated Shida with her signature finishing move, the Lock Jaw. This triumph cemented Baker as the face of the AEW Women’s Division and proved why she had already won over so many fans.
