Bryan Danielson shocked the world when he made his AEW debut. It was no surprise that he was going to absolutely dominate the ring. He started his AEW career a perfect 8-0. He quickly found himself competing for a World Championship in only his ninth match. On December 15th, 2021, he faced off against the fierce Adam Page for the World Championship. Their match ended in a 60-minute time limit draw, but they met up again in less than a month. On January 5, 2022, Page defeated Danielson to defend his title. Despite this heartbreaking loss, Danielson continued to shine in his first year with AEW. He has wrestled in many key matches and will look to continue to hunt for that world title.
