In 2023, Collin Morikawa made history when winning his first-ever Zozo Championship. This win meant a lot to Morikawa as it was his first win since the 2021 Open Championship. Morikawa also got to win a PGA Tournament in Japan, the same country his grandparents are from. Morikawa dominated as he finished 14 under par, which was six strokes above second place. On the first day of the tournament, he led after shooting a 64. He finished the tournament even stronger shooting a 63 on the final day to secure his victory. This was Morikawa’s sixth PGA Tour win, and he now has wins in England, Dubai, California, Florida, Ohio, and Japan.
