In the 24th film in the Bond series – and fourth featuring Craig in the famous role of the fictional MI6 agent – the hero is defiant in this one. He carries out an unauthorized mission and is eventually suspended from field duty. Bond disobeys orders more than once in this adventure, and audiences responded with a newfound appreciation for the rogue Bond.
