In the 2022-2023 season, Darius Garland had another pivotal year for the Cleveland Cavaliers. Garland was one of the first pieces to the Cavalier's rebuild after getting drafted fifth overall in the 2019 draft. Since Garland’s draft year, he and the Cavaliers have improved each season. In the 2022 season, Garland helped the Cavaliers to the playoffs for the first time since they lost the finals in 2018. Garland averaged 21.6 points per game along with 2.9 rebounds and 7.8 assists. He had his career-best three-point percentage at 41 percent and also had his career-best game when he scored 51 points.
