De’Aaron Fox and Moses Moody Autographed “California Clash” 24x16

The 2022-23 season was a pivotal one for NBA Basketball in Northern California. The Sacramento Kings came into the season with a 16-year playoff drought, an NBA record and the longest active streak among the four major professional sports leagues in the United States. With De’Aaron Fox helping lead the way, the Kings ended this drought with no doubt, securing the number three seed in the Western Conference with a 48-34 record. Fox’s performance was recognized by winning the Clutch Player of the Year Award. The Golden State Warriors came into the year fresh off the franchise’s seventh championship and stayed strong with a playoff berth as the sixth seed in the Western Conference with a 44-38 record. Moses Moody saw his role increase in his second season and improved his statistics across the board. The first round of the NBA Playoffs saw these two teams face off, and it was an instant classic. Fox put on a show with two 38-point performances and a double-double. Moody saw himself score his career high for points in a playoff game in a Game Three win, while recording a +/- of +20 in Game Seven. In a hard-fought back and forth series, the Warriors secured a seven-game victory to advance in the playoffs. The Kings would get their revenge in the 2024 Play-In Tournament, but the 2023 series set up what could be an exciting regional matchup for years to come.
