Dennis Rodman Autographed 1997-98 Chicago Bulls White Swingman Mitchell & Ness Jersey
Signed By: Dennis Rodman
Type: Autographed Basketball Jersey
Pen Color: Silver
Details
Dennis Rodman was always one to stand out in his NBA career, both with his talent and his personality. After making a name for himself while winning two championships with the “Bad Boys” Pistons and a stint with the Spurs, in 1995 Rodman found a new home with the Chicago Bulls. Since his familiar number 10 was retired by the team, “The Worm” chose to wear the number 91 since the digits add up to 10. With the Bulls, Rodman continued his rebounding prowess, winning his fifth straight rebounding title while contributing to a then-NBA record 72 team wins. His presence on the boards showed up in the playoffs too. Wearing the home white jersey, Rodman tied an NBA Finals record with 11 offensive rebounds in Game 2 of the 1996 Finals, and then repeated this feat in Game 6 to help the Bulls close out the Seattle SuperSonics and win their fourth championship (Rodman’s third). Rodman remained a key component of a Chicago team that went on to win the next two NBA Finals.
This jersey is autographed by Dennis Rodman with a silver paint pen. Rodman’s signature was witnessed by an Upper Deck representative as part of UDA’s 5-step authentication process.
