On July 22, 2020, Eddie Kingston made his debut for AEW on an episode of Dynamite. In his very first match, he faced off against Cody Rhodes for the AEW TNT Championship. Despite his loss, a week later he signed a contract to stick with AEW. Since signing with the promotion, Kingston has quickly become one of the dominant wrestlers in the ring. He has posted a winning percentage of .704 in his first 80 matches with the promotion. He has competed multiple times for world championships but has come up short in each attempt. His most famous attempt came against Jon Moxley when he competed for the AEW World Championship Title. Kingston has been extremely close to claiming a title and he will look to continue his success to win that championship in AEW.
