Emoni Bates Autographed The Show “EB21” 46x20

Emoni Bates was born to play basketball from the start. The son of a former professional basketball player, Bates began playing basketball at just three years old and was always dribbling a basketball around the house and sleeping with a miniature basketball. The Michigan native was a rising star through school, with his 6’7” stature in seventh grade helping him dominate the competition, averaging 46 points per game that season. Bates helped lead Lincoln High School, in Ypsilanti, Michigan, to its first state championship in his freshman year, resulting in him being named Michigan Gatorade Player of the Year, MaxPreps National Freshman of the Year, Associated Press Division 1 Player of the Year, and was named to the All-State first team. Although the state tournament was suspended before he could help Lincoln defend its title in his sophomore season, Bates was named the Gatorade National Player of the Year among other big awards. Despite reclassifying to skip his senior year of high school, the star forward was still a consensus top five recruit in the nation before landing with the Memphis Tigers for college basketball. After transferring to play for the Eastern Michigan Eagles, Bates put on a scoring clinic, scoring 19.2 points per game, in his sophomore year on his way to being drafted by the Cleveland Cavaliers in the 2023 NBA Draft and realizing his dream to play in the NBA.
