The transition from Michael Jordan to LeBron James in the sequel was seamless and Space Jam “A New Legacy” became an instant box office hit earning $31.1 million its opening weekend which made it the best opening weekend for a family film. With a superstar voice cast consisting of Jeff Bergman, Eric Bauza, Zendaya, Candi Milo, and Gabriel Iglesias coupled with a live-action cast of Lebron James, Don Cheadle, Sonequa Martin-Green, and Khris Davis; Space Jam “A New Legacy” combines the classic Looney Tunes’ comedic animation with a modern theme to deliver box office success.
