Coming off a blossoming junior season where he averaged 30 points per game and was named the USA Today All-USA California player of the year, Jalen Green was determined on elevating his level of play and transferred to the prestigious Prolific Prep for his senior year of high school. Green took no time adjusting to the higher competition as he was able to dominate against the rest of the playing field by carrying his team to a 31-3 record after averaging 31 points, 7 boards, and 5 assists per game and was eventually named to both the Jordan Brand Classic and McDonald’s All-American game. Although his senior season was cut short due to the global pandemic, the Sports Illustrated All-American player of the year was able to showcase his versatile play and superstar capabilities allowing for him to embark on the journey of becoming the first player in NBA history to forego college and enter the NBA after one season under a G-league contract.
