Jalen Rose Autographed & Inscribed “Fab Five” Baden Michigan Basketball

Born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, Jalen Rose did not have to travel far to play college basketball for the Michigan Wolverines. Part of one of the greatest recruiting classes of all time, Rose and the four other recruits together made the Fab Five, still one of the most talked about teams to this day. The Fab Five made history in 1992 by becoming the first NCAA basketball team in history to make the national championship with an all-freshman starting five. The team then made another appearance in the national championship in 1993, the only other year that the Fab Five was together as a whole. Jalen Rose was a big part of the success of Michigan as he led the team in scoring during his freshman year with 17.6 points per game. He continued his own success throughout his college career, scoring over 1,700 points with over 400 points and assists and 100 steals in three years with the Wolverines. Rose’s accomplishments were recognized with a third-team All-Big Ten Conference selection in his sophomore year and a first-team selection in his junior (and final) year. This group is remembered for a lot more than just their on-court accomplishments as they set trends that swept the nation in the early 90’s.

This ball is autographed and inscribed “FAB FIVE” by Jalen Rose with a silver paint pen. Rose’s signature and inscription were witnessed by an Upper Deck representative as part of UDA’s 5-step authentication process.
