Since making his debut to AEW on May 25th, 2019, Jon Moxley has been one of AEW’s most prominent and successful wrestlers. On February 29th, 2020, Moxley would defeat Chris Jericho at Wintrust Arena in Chicago to become AEW’s second ever World Champion, he would hold this title for 277 days. Two years later, on June 26th, 2022, Moxley would defeat Hiroshi Tanahashi to become AEW’s Interim World Champion (left vacant when CM Punk declined to defend his title), later winning the world championship outright when he defeated CM Punk on AEW Dynamite on August 24th, 2022. Finally, Moxley would make AEW history when he defeated Bryan Danielson in Queens, NY on September 21, 2022, making him AEW’s first ever three-time World Champion.
