On May 1, 2019, Jon Moxley posted a video to his twitter account featuring him breaking out of prison, the video a promotional video promoting Moxley joining the newly formed AEW. The video was a perfect description of Moxley’s attitude and personality as he consistently wears outfits branded with barb wires. A month later, in June, Moxley would win his debut match with AEW defeating Joey Janela at Fyter Fest. Moxley’s career with AEW has been a successful one winning three AEW World Championships one AEW International Championship, and one AEW Grand Slam Tournament of Champions. Commonly referred to as MOX, Moxley has won a total of 144 matches since joining AEW, good for an .840 winning percentage.
