Details
In 1993, the San Antonio Spurs moved to the Alamodome, a primary football stadium that could accommodate basketball. The team spent nine seasons at the Alamodome, which included a championship in 1999, before moving to a new arena. On January 13, 2023, the Spurs made a return to the Alamodome for one game to celebrate the team’s 50th anniversary in San Antonio and took on the Golden State Warriors. San Antonio wore its City Edition uniforms that paid tribute to the teal color scheme and font of the 1996 NBA All-Star Game that was hosted at the stadium. The event generated so much buzz that it broke the NBA single-game attendance record with 68,323 fans in the crowd. Keldon Johnson was among the Spurs’ leading scorers that game with 17 points. This performance helped contribute to Johnson’s career high 22 points per game in the 2022-23 season. Since entering the NBA, the young standout has been a focal point of the Spurs’ offense and will retain a crucial role as the team improves in the coming years.
This image is autographed by Keldon Johnson with a silver paint pen. Johnson’s signature was witnessed by an Upper Deck Authenticated representative as part of UDA’s 5-step authentication process.
