Kenny Omega “Title Defense” 20x24

With his track record in previous wrestling promotions, it was only a matter of time until Kenny Omega became the AEW World Champion upon joining. His run as champion was a little more unexpected and is still yet to be matched since. After a hiatus from singles competitions, in November 2020 Omega made his return by winning the tournament to determine the number one contender to challenge the AEW World Champion at the time, Jon Moxley. After an excruciating battle for both sides, Omega defeated Moxley to capture the title belt. The World Champion Omega immediately turned heel and went on a dominant streak that saw him hold his title for 346 days, which is still the record for the AEW Men’s Division. This almost year-long reign was recognized by Pro Wrestling Illustrated and earned him the #1 spot among their top 500 wrestlers for the second time in his career.
