Keon Johnson “Taking Flight” 24x20

One skill that always plays in the NBA is athleticism, and Keon Johnson is among the elite when it comes to that.  This is most apparent with his ability to convert high-flying dunks and explode above the rim. Thanks to his leaping ability, Johnson broke an NBA record before even being on a team. At the 2021 draft combine, the freshman from Tennessee posted a 48-inch vertical leap, breaking the 20-year-old record by two and a half inches. Johnson’s standing vertical was also impressive, registering at 41.5 inches. Among other skills, the guard’s athleticism helped him be selected as the 21st selection in the first round of the 2021 NBA Draft. Now with the Phoenix Suns, Johnson has translated this to the court and has put his dunking ability on display, like the one in this image. As he makes his mark in the league, he expects to appear on many more highlight reels to come.
