Kerri Walsh Jennings & Misty May-Treanor “Dynamic Duo” 20x24

The 2000s saw its fair share of great athletes and teams, but few transcended their sport more than Kerri Walsh Jennings and Misty May-Treanor. The pair teamed up in 2001 and only a year later they were already ranked the number one beach volleyball team in the world. In 2003, they joined the AVP tour and went on an unheard-of dominant run. In the first six seasons together on the AVP tour, Walsh Jennings and May-Treanor won women’s Team of the Year all six years with one of them winning MVP in each of those years, among other individual awards. It became apparent the pair was unstoppable when they set a world record of 90 consecutive matches won, but that was only the beginning as they shattered that with a separate streak of 112 matches a few years later. Kerri Walsh Jennings and Misty May-Treanor are the faces of beach volleyball and still are the best duo to ever play the sport.
