Details

Albertsons Stadium, formerly known as Bronco Stadium is one of the most recognizable stadiums in college football. In 1986, the Boise State University Broncos made headlines by installing a blue turf, rather than the traditional green playing surface. As the first team to stray away from a green surface, the field in Boise, Idaho is easily recognizable by college football fans around the country. With the Broncos reaching new heights of consistent success since the 2000s, Albertsons Stadium is the place to be on Saturdays in the fall. Boise State fans constantly pack the stadium, giving the team a huge home field advantage that has led to a 148-14 home record since 1999. Even with the amount of success over the years, the Broncos had one of their best seasons in school history in 2024, finishing at 12-2 (including a 7-0 home record) to win the Mountain West Conference and earn a first round bye as the three seed in the College Football Playoff. This 2024 team featured Malachi Nelson, the 2023 number one overall recruit. The quarterback made his debut at Albertsons Stadium on September 21st in a win against Portland State, throwing for 66 yards on five completions. Nelson would go on to contribute to three wins for Boise State, all at home.

This panoramic image is autographed by Malachi Nelson. Nelson’s signature was witnessed by an Upper Deck representative as part of UDA’s 5-step authentication process.
