Mark Price Autographed "Coach & I" Photo

One of only four members of the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame to be elected as both a player and a coach, Lenny Wilkens left an indelible mark on the league and the game itself. Only John Wooden, Bill Sharman and Tom Heinsohn can claim the rare dual recognition that Wilkens received for his contributions to the sport. Wilkens arrived in Cleveland the same year Mark Price was drafted by the Cavaliers. The coach-player duo worked for seven seasons together before Wilkins took over the Hawks. They combined to build the Cavs into an Eastern Conference power that challenged the Pistons and Bulls on an annual basis. Wilkens was inducted into the Hall of Fame as a coach in 1998. On the court, he was a Hall of Fame point guard and nine-time All-Star who still sits 13th on the all-time list for career assists. Price has followed in his footsteps with several stops as an NBA assistant coach before becoming the head coach at UNC-Charlotte in 2015.
