While MJF has excellent microphone and trash-talking skills, he also has climbed the ranks as one of the top wrestlers of AEW. On November 19, 2022, MJF captured the AEW World Championship during the AEW Full Gear PPV. His title victory was as villainous as it could get, as he utilized a pair of brass knuckles while the ref was knocked down. His blow to Moxley with the brass knuckles would knock him out, leading to MJF’s victory. His title at the age of 26 made him the youngest pro wrestling champion.
