He set out to write an homage to the strength of the city he moved to in 1912. The author once said the poem is a “chant of defiance” to other big cities of the day. Chicago back then and still is a city renowned for its incredible strength and impressive work ethic. This designed piece is titled from the line from the poem that is one of the nicknames for the great city, a place where Michael Jordan brought his greatness and brought six championships. The faint red in the clouds above perfectly accent the black and white double matte and the clean black frame on this unique image. Jordan has autographed this framed limited edition (123) “City Of The Big Shoulders” 40” x 25” designed image in silver paint pen. The frame gives it an approximate overall size of 44x29.
