Born on Christmas Day in Plovdiv, Bulgaria, Miro attended a sports school growing up.  In his early adult life, he competed in rowing, powerlifting and sambo before embarking on his professional wrestling career. Miro made his All Elite Wresting (AEW) debut on September 9, 2020, at Dynamite and his in-ring wrestling debut two weeks later at Dynamite with a win when he teamed up with Sabian. He defeated his rival Darby Allin in an episode of Dynamite to win the AEW TNT Championship. He has several successful title defenses to his credit with a 140-day reign as Champ. In addition to his AEW TNT Championship, Miro has been named Most Improved Wrestler of the Year and Most Underrated.
