Details

One of the top two-way forwards in the history of the NHL, Peter Forsberg was so good at so many things on the ice. When his team needed a goal, he was there to set up a teammate or power the puck to the back of the net. When his team was holding a lead late in the game, he would display the perfect combination of physical play and team defense. He was at the heart of both Stanley Cup championships in Colorado. An unselfish yet ultra-talented center, he led the league in points per game twice (2002-03, 2003-04) and ranks eighth in that category for his career. In his Hart Memorial-winning season of 2002-03, he scored 29 goals with a league-leading 77 assists for his second career 100-point season. He also led the NHL in plus-minus with a plus-52 that season. His powerful slap shot resulted in 249 career goals. One of them is coming right at you in 3-D in this memorabilia piece. Skating in his home sweater, Forsberg's potent slap shot practically travels at light speed as an official NHL game puck is physically breaking through the Plexiglas here, giving the image unique depth. Peter Forsberg has signed this limited edition (25) Avalanche Slap Shot Breaking Through 24" x 16" image in black paint pen. His signature is deemed authentic by virtue of Upper Deck Authenticated's Five Step Process.
