Details

Born in Beverly Hills, California, Peyton Watson attended Long Beach Poly High School and it was there where he would begin to make a name for himself in the basketball world. Making the varsity squad as a freshman Watson would assume a leading role his junior year as he would average 23.2 points and 8 rebounds per game. The awards would pile up for Watson as he would earn Moore League MVP honors and be named to the rosters for the McDonald’s All-American, Jordan Brand Classic, and Nike Hoop Summit. Watson would receive scholarship offers from basketball powerhouses UCLA, Arizona, Gonzaga, Michigan, Oregon, and Washington, eventually choosing to stay near his hometown attending UCLA. While some scouts were doubtful of Watson’s draft status due to only one season played at UCLA it was his impressive high school showing and elite skill set that led him to be a first-round pick.

This Denver Nuggets blue Swingman Nike jersey is autographed and inscribed “1st Rd Pk” by Peyton Watson. Watson’s signature and inscription were witnessed by an Upper Deck representative as part of UDA’s 5-step authentication process.  This item is limited to 88.
