After recording 82 points in only 45 games with the Sudbury Wolves in the 2019-2020 OHL season, Quinton Byfield came into the 2020 NHL Draft with lots of buzz surrounding his play. At 6-foot-4, 215 pounds, Byfield brings size, versatility, and crafty stick work to the Los Angeles Kings after being drafted second overall behind the New York Rangers’ Alexis Lafrenière. Drafted at the age of 18, the Kings firmly believe that Byfield has the potential to blossom into a generational talent that can take them back to the Stanley Cup Finals after not making it since their last championship run in 2014.
