At 6-foot-4, 215 pounds, Byfield brings size, versatility, and crafty stick work to the Los Angeles Kings after being drafted second overall behind the New York Rangers’ Alexis Lafrenière. Drafted at the age of 18, the Kings firmly believe that Byfield has the potential to blossom into a generational talent that can take them back to the Stanley Cup Finals after not making it since their last championship run in 2014.
