Rory McIlroy Autographed "The Show”

In September 2007, Rory McIlroy turned professional at just 18 years old with a lot of promise and expectations to be the next big thing in golf. The Northern Ireland native did not take long to show the hype was real, winning his first professional event in February 2009. McIlroy also stepped up in majors, finishing in the top ten in the 2009 US Open, and tied for third in the 2009 PGA Championship. He then joined the PGA Tour in 2010 where he really started to take over as one of the top names in golf. In 2011 at the US Open, McIlroy won his first career major as the start of what would become a dominant run of majors that saw him win four majors in four years – two PGA Championships, one US Open, and one The Open Championship. Rory has continued to have a great career since but sealed his spot as one of the greatest golfers of all time by completing the career grand slam and winning the 2025 Masters Tournament after many strong showings and close finishes. McIlroy’s 29th PGA Tour win was a huge moment in the golf community as he became only the sixth ever golfer to achieve the grand slam feat. He also has three Tour Championship wins and FedEx Cups to go with his already impressive résumé.

Rory McIlroy’s large autograph by marker is signed on a large piece of p-velvet paper. Then an image is printed on a thick layer of acrylic and framed with the signed paper to create what UDA calls The Show. It’s another in a long line of beautifully finished sports art pieces.
