Shane Wright Autographed “Team Canada ’23 World Juniors Gold” 16x20

When Team Canada announced its men’s roster for the 2023 IIHF World Juniors Championship it included some of the game’s best young prospects. In a roster that included Dylan Guenther, Brandt Clark, Connor Bedard, and Adam Fantilli, it was Shane Wright that was named captain. After losing to Czechia in their first game 5-2, Canada would not lose again, winning the final 6 games of the tournament including exacting revenge on Czechia by defeating them 3-2 in overtime in the championship game. In leading his team to gold Shane Wright would score 4 goals and 3 assists for 7 points in the tournament’s 7 games including a goal 4:35 into the 2nd Period to give Canada a 2-0 lead. Fittingly for Wright, the goal, and his team’s gold medal win, came on his 19th birthday.
