When looking at Sky Brown’s accomplishments, there is a lot to be impressed about. But when you factor in her young age at which she has accomplished these, it makes it even more impressive. Following in her father’s footsteps, Brown has ridden a skateboard since she was three years old, ever since she can remember. She never stopped riding and perfected her craft to where she was competing in events at just eight years old. At ten years old, Brown turned professional to become the youngest professional skateboarder in the world at the time, which then earned her a Nike sponsorship. Also then the youngest Nike athlete at the time, she was featured in campaigns along big names such as Serena Williams and Simone Biles. That same year, Brown won her first professional medal by securing bronze in the park event at the 2019 World Skateboarding Championships. She later went on to win her first Olympic medal at the age of 13 in the Tokyo Olympics. With a lot already under her belt, Sky Brown only has time to keep growing her accomplishments as she gains more experience.
