Details
In the summer prior to the 2022-2023 NBA Season the Utah Jazz unveiled four new uniform sets, none more eye-popping than the return of the classic purple mountain design. The uniform design isn’t just popular because of how easy they are on the eyes but also because these uniforms were worn during the most successful era in Jazz history. Purple has been embedded in the Jazz’s color palette since it’s New Orleans inception in 1974 but it’s the prominent white-to-purple gradient mountain uniforms that were featured from 1996-2004, in the days of John Stockton and Karl Malone which included back-to-back trips to the NBA Finals in 1997 and 1998. Wearing the jerseys a total of 18 times during the 2022-2023 season Jazz Owner Jim Olson promised that “Purple is back and here to stay”. The organization is looking to the return of their classic uniforms and a healthy 22 year-old Talen Horton-Tucker to anchor down the small forward position and help the Jazz back to the NBA Finals.
This image is autographed by Talen Horton-Tucker. Tucker’s signature was witnessed by an Upper Deck representative as part of UDA’s 5-step authentication process.
