Details
Traded from the Magic to the Lakers on draft night of the 2019 NBA Draft, Talen Horton-Tucker would sign with the Lakers on July 13, 2019 and make his NBA debut with them the following season on December 8, 2019 against the Minnesota Timberwolves at just 19 years and 13 days old. While Tucker’s role was limited during his first season, mostly splitting time between the South Bay Lakers and the LA Lakers, his hard work during the season would pay off as he would earn a larger role during the team’s playoff run. Tucker would come up big in Game 5 of the Western Conference semifinals as he would score 9 points in 10 minutes in helping the Lakers defeat the Rockets 119-96 and move on to the finals. The Lakers would defeat the Heat in the NBA Finals in 6 games making Tucker the second-youngest player in NBA History to win a championship at 19 years and 322 days old.
This p-velvet archival paper is autographed by Talen Horton-Tucker. Tucker’s signature was witnessed by an Upper Deck representative as part of UDA’s 5-step authentication process. This item is not limited.
