Patrick Roy Autographed Replica KOHO Goalie Catcher
Signed By: Patrick Roy
Type: Autographed Hockey Goalie Catcher
Pen Color: Silver
Details
While Patrick Roy’s career took off with the Montreal Canadiens and he spent more years there, his time with the Colorado Avalanche is also very important when telling the story of his career and his legacy. When Roy was traded to Colorado to help put the newly relocated franchise over the top, he had already won two Stanley Cups and two Conn Smythe Trophies. His championship experience immediately paid off for the Avalanche as he helped them win the first Stanley Cup in franchise history in 1996. Roy would go on to make an additional five NHL All-Star Games for Colorado and finished top five in the Vezina Trophy voting five times. The Avalanche would return to the Stanley Cup Finals in 2001, and with Roy in goal they won another championship. Roy won another Conn Smythe Trophy, becoming the only player to win it three times, the only won to win it in both conferences, and the only one to win it in three different decades. Colorado retired Roy’s number 33 on October 28, 2003.
This replica goalie catcher is autographed by Patrick Roy with a silver paint pen. Roy’s signature was witnessed by an Upper Deck Authenticated representative as part of UDA’s 5-step authentication process.
