Mike Tyson is one of the most well-known boxers of all time, due to his success, intimidating fighting style, and his colorful personality. Iron Mike turned heads right away by winning his first 19 matches all by knockout. His undefeated streak continued on November 22, 1986 when he defeated Trevor Berbick to become the youngest ever heavyweight champion at 20 years hold. Another career highlight for Tyson came on June 28, 1988 when he took on Michael Spinks in what was a heavily publicized matchup, with Tyson knocking Spinks out in just 91 seconds. Tyson’s undefeated streak reached 37 matches and he finished his career 50-6. Known as one of the sport’s hardest punchers, his accolades racked up, including being named Fighter of the Year by The Ring magazine in 1986 and 1988, and being inducted into the International Boxing Hall of Fame in 2011.
