Ziaire Williams was welcomed to Memphis with a lot of expectations as the number ten pick in the 2021 NBA Draft, and he proved why the Grizzlies and its fans were excited about the small forward. In 43 games after returning from an injury, Williams put together a strong rookie campaign that highlighted his abilities. During that stretch, he averaged just under ten points per game, while shooting 48% from the field and 33.9% from three-point range. Playing alongside a talented and contenting team, Williams saw a huge jump in his +/- with +183 in that time. He excelled most in his mid-range game, as he shot 57.7% from between 16 and 24 feet throughout his whole rookie season. With great defensive length to go with his offensive skills, Williams looks to have an all-around game that fans in the M will welcome for a long time.
