Throughout his young career, Brayden Yager has managed to achieve many significant accomplishments. The CHL Rookie of the Year winner can add a gold medal to his hardware after winning the 2022 Hlinka Gretzky Cup with Team Canada. The Hlinka Gretzky Cup is an under 18 multi country tournament held each summer. Yager had the privilege of suiting up for his home country of Canada for the first time in this tournament. Playing for Canada also came with a great amount of pressure, as they have won the tournament ten times since 2008. Yager and Team Canada did not disappoint as they went on to dominate the tournament. In five games, they scored 34 goals, with Yager netting five of them.
