In facing off against a generational talent like Connor McDavid, the Colorado Avalanche expected to have their hands full in trying to contain him but had no answers in handling  the magnificent show on ice that occurred November 14, 2019. After recording a hat trick just two games prior, McDavid gave the Oiler faithful his most remarkable performance yet by scoring three early power play goals and dishing three more assists, totaling six points on the evening! McDavid’s play was so astounding that he only needed two periods to accomplish this incredible feat which led to him being named the NHL’s player of the month and star of the week.
