Details

The Conn Smythe Trophy is awarded to the most valuable player of a season’s NHL playoffs, and after 42 points, the most since Mario Lemieux’s 44 points in the 1991 playoffs, Connor McDavid was the obvious choice for the 2024 Conn Smythe Trophy. While McDavid was the playoff MVP, he was leading the Oilers right from the season’s beginning. McDavid would lead the Oilers in points (132) and assists (100) during the regular season, leading his team back from a 2-9-1 start to the second-best record in the Pacific Division. McDavid was just as good in the playoffs helping the Oilers survive five elimination games to get to Game 7 of the Stanley Cup Finals, perhaps his biggest moment being a game winning goal against the Stars in double overtime of Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals as the Oilers would win the series 4-2. McDavid would finish with 11 points (3 goals, 8 assists) in the Stanley Cup Finals including a remarkable 4 points each in games 4 and 5 to help his team fend off elimination.

This acetate sheet is autographed by Connor McDavid. McDavid’s signature was witnessed by an Upper Deck representative as part of UDA’s 5-step authentication process. The accompanying 20x16 image is not autographed. This item is limited to 97.
