Connor McDavid, the first pick of the 2015 NHL Draft, took only 92 games to reach 100 points after joining the Edmonton Oilers. Out of current players in the NHL, there are only three that have reached 100 points faster than McDavid and they were Alex Ovechkin, Sidney Crosby and Evgeni Malkin. The 100th point for McDavid came from a game-winning goal with 2.6 remaining in overtime against the Florida Panthers.
