Details
The Edmonton Oilers made their first appearance in the Stanley Cup Final since 2006, a 4-3 series loss to the Carolina Hurricanes. Much like 2006 this series would go 7 games and Connor McDavid would make the 2023-24 postseason a postseason to remember. In McDavid’s quest to bring Canada it’s first Stanley Cup since 1993 he would go on to lead the postseason in points, break the record for assists in a single postseason, post the most points in a 2-game span, and become the first player to record four different four-point games in a single postseason since Mark Messier in 1988. Some of McDavid’s biggest playoff highlights include a double-overtime game winning goal in game 1 of the Western Conference Finals and back-to-back 4-point games in games 4 and 5 of the Stanley Cup Final. McDavid became the first player to record more than 40 points in a single postseason since Mario Lemieux in the 1991 postseason.
This p-velvet archival paper is autographed by Connor McDavid. McDavid’s signature was witnessed by an Upper Deck representative as part of UDA’s 5-step authentication process.
